Rock River Electric completed the full electrical scope for this project. Costco was a fast-paced build, beginning in the summer of 2018 and opening in the fall of the same year. The 150,000-square-foot facility sits on a 17-acre site off East 53rd Street in Davenport, Iowa. Originally scheduled to open on October 25, 2018, the project was completed ahead of schedule thanks to the determination and efficiency of the construction team, officially opening on October 20, 2018.

Rock River Electric completed the full electrical scope for this large-scale new construction project, providing a wide range of advanced electrical and low-voltage solutions. Our work included the installation of the main electrical service and distribution system, a backup generator, and comprehensive power and lighting throughout the facility. Additional scope included machine hook-up and reassembly, installation of approximately 500 feet of bus duct, automation infrastructure, a fully integrated fire alarm system, as well as low-voltage and CCTV systems. We also provided all interior and exterior power and lighting required to support the facility’s operations. This state-of-the-art facility spans 160,000 square feet and is powered by a robust 3,000-amp electrical service, designed to support both current and future operational demands.
